    A船は、船長Aほか25人が乗り組み、京浜港川崎第1区の大師運河の東岸にある桟橋に係留中、平成26年6月1日10時42分ごろ、左舷中央部船首寄りにB船の右舷船尾部が衝突した。 B船は、船長Bほか15人(ミャンマー連邦国籍8人、フィリピン共和国籍6人、大韓民国籍1人)が乗り組み、空倉の状態で、09時35分ごろ、京浜港川崎第2区の危険物積載船用錨地で水先人Bを乗せて抜錨し、京浜港川崎第1区の大師運河北西側にある千鳥桟橋に左舷着けする予定で向かった。 B船は、船長Bが操船指揮をとり、水先人Bが水先し、三等航海士が見張りの補助等に、操舵手が手動操舵にそれぞれ当たり、鶴見航路を経て京浜運河を北東進した。 C船(アジマススラスタ、えい引力50t)は、船長Cほか4人が乗り組み、B船の操船支援のため京浜運河を北東進し、10時37分ごろ水先人Bの指示を受けてB船の右舷船尾にタグラインを取った後、押し引きが可能
