貨物船HEIWA MARUは、船長及び操舵手ほか13人が乗り組み、沖縄県今帰仁村運天港上運天地区公共岸壁に着岸しようした際、浅瀬が存在する海域を後進中、令和3年11月30日18時01分ごろ同県名護市屋我地島オランダ埼南西側の干出浜に乗り揚げた。 HEIWA MARUは、プロペラ翼に破損及び曲損、舵板に擦過傷をそれぞれ生じ、運天港運天原地区に設置のいけす8基を全壊し、同地区に係留中の漁船2隻を圧壊した。
