    Rio De Janeiro, Brazil The International Maritime Bureau received a report from the owners of the M/V san Marino, a 14,366 gross ton, Cypriot flagged container vessel on 3 May 96. The vessel's master reports that the ship was attacked by armed pirates on 2 May 1996, at 0200 local, while anchored in Rio De Janeiro.
