    A BIMCO member reports that on 23 January 1995 at 0610 hrs in position 16-36N Lat, 119-40E Long, a merchant vessel en route to Kaohsiung was approached by a small boat about 15 metres in length. As the boat approached, the aft hoses were turned on and the crew stood by to repel any attempted boarding. As a result the boat gave up its pursuit after 25 minutes.
