FOUR ROCKET GRENADES FIRED FROM THE COAST BLEW A HOLE ABOUT FIVE FEET IN DIAMETER IN THE SHIP'S SIDE ABOVE THE WATER LINE, DAMAGING CREW QUARTERS. NONE OF THE 20 CREW ON BOARD WERE HURT. THE ATTACK TOOK PLACE ABOUT 1.5 MILES OFF THE COAST OF BEIRUT. SEE SPECIAL WARNING 71.
