During their inspection, they asked for, and were given, a small 'gratuity.' Later that evening, the boarding occurred and a jewelry box was ransacked and most items were stolen. No police report made.

After a struggle the intruder held a knife to the wife¿s neck and demanded and received money and jewelry. He then tied the owners up and left. The incident was reported to port authorities.

Alert duty crew noticed the robbers lowering the rescue boat engine to a waiting escape boat. Alarm sounded and the robbers immediately left the engine and escaped.
