    CHINA: An unidentified bulk carrier was boarded 10 Sep in the early morning hours, while anchored in position 21-27N 108-22E, Fangcheng. Thieves armed with knives and crowbars boarded at the forecastle using grappling hooks, broke into fore peak locker, and stole ship's stores. Crew raised alarm and thieves escaped in a waiting boat. Port authority was informed and police arrived at noon to investigate (IMB).
