A cargo ship for goods that are not containerised or carried in bulk: steel, machinery, bagged cargo and project cargo, often with its own cranes. Multi-purpose ships also take containers. Voydar tracks 1,683 ships of this type by IMO number, 472 of them heard on AIS in the last 7 days.
