    PERU: On 16 November, two robbers armed with a gun boarded the anchored, Portugal-flagged bulk carrier NORDMOSEL at Callao Anchorage, near position 11-59S 077-13W and stole ship’s stores from the forward station. The ship reported the incident to Callao port authorities. All crew were safe.

    PERU: On 29 September at 0150 local time, between 15 and 18 robbers boarded an anchored tanker at Callao Anchorage, near position 11-59S 077-13W. The robbers tied up the duty crew and watchmen while they were conducting their routine rounds and held them at knifepoint before escaping with stolen ship’s stores. The ship reported the incident to the port authorities; the Peru Coast Guard boarded to investigate the incident.

    PERU: On 23 September at 0330 local time, two perpetrators armed with knives boarded the anchored Bahamas-flagged LNG tanker MUREX at Callao Anchorage, near position 11-59S 077-13W. The perpetrators boarded the vessel from a small boat with six persons onboard and gained access to the tanker by crawling in between the anchor chain and the hawsepipe cover, which they later removed.     PERU: On 2 September at 0220 local time, four robbers armed with knives boarded the anchored Denmarkflagged tanker TORM AMALIE at Callao Anchorage, near position 12-01S 077-12W. They took one duty crewman hostage and tied him up. The bridge raised the alarm, resulting in the robbers escaping with ship’s properties and stores. After the ship reported the incident to port control, the Peruvian Coast Guard responded and boarded the vessel to investigate.

    PERU: On 24 July at 0330 local time, the duty crew on routine rounds onboard an anchored bulk carrier at Callao Anchorage, near position 12-01S 077-12W, discovered a padlock broken and ship’s stores stolen. The crew conducted a search but no unauthorized persons were found onboard. The vessel reported the incident to port control and a patrol boat was dispatched to the ship’s location to search the area.

    PERU: (Late Reporting) On 18 July at 1850 local time, the duty crew of an anchored container ship at Callao Anchorage noticed a perpetrator climbing the anchor chain, near position 12-01S 077-10W. The bridge sounded the alarm and mustered the crew, which resulted in the robber abandoning the climb. The ship reported the incident to port control, which informed all vessels in the vicinity.
