COTE D’IVOIRE: On 31 March, at 2150 local time, duty crew members spotted two perpetrators crawling under razor wire to get aboard an anchored vessel at San Pedro Anchorage near position 04-43N 006-35W. After the alarm was raised, the perpetrators made their escape in a canoe where a third person was waiting. Nothing was reported stolen and all crew were reported safe.

IVORY COAST: An unidentified bulk carrier reported an attempted boarding13 Feb at 0415 local time, while at anchor off San Pedro. Six boats, with more than fifteen persons, tried to board using hooks and ropes at the stern and near the no.1 hatch, port side. Boarding was interrupted by fast response of ships crew. No assistance from port control was offered. Eight persons able to get into steering flat through rudder trunking were handed over to local police (IMB).
