ARGENTINA: Merchant vessel robbed 1 Nov, Parana River, San Nicolas, Buenos Aires. The vessel was boarded by 17 pirates, who proceeded to destroy the communication equipment. The pirates also broke into the containers, taking dozens of DVD players and video recorders. The criminals fled in another vessel, which the coast guard was later able to detain (Air Security International).
