Protection status

Location generalised as a precaution

The position shown is generalised to within about 10 km. The exact position is not published.

The year of loss is not recorded, so its age and protection status cannot be verified.

How this was decided: Voydar's protection rules, from the sources we hold, confidence 50%. When in doubt, Voydar generalises the position.

Allah Mina was a cement barge which sunk in the Persian Gulf in approximately 1972. The wreck site is now a popular site for scuba divers, in part because of the coral and other marine life attracted to the lime contained in the barge's cargo.
