SRI LANKA: An unidentified tanker was pursued by a suspicious craft 25 Jan at 0300 local time while underway in position 06 01N, 079 35E, off Galle, Sri Lanka. The duty officer directed the ship's Aldis lamp toward the unlit vessel which was pursuing at about 30 knots. The craft subsequently reduced speed and moved away.
